Laura Shaft is the Chair of the Coastal Restoration Trust. Laura works for the Northland Regional Council as the Coast Care Coordinator. She has over 30 years of practical experience working with community based coast care groups.
Welcome to the conference and Workshop: Monitoring your coastal restoration project
Laura, as chair of the Trust, will open and welcome everyone to the conference and introduce the trustees and conference committee.
Monitoring workshop: Laura will go through how to monitor your project site using simple community based guidelines for assessing the state of coastal dune systems. This will cover dune profiles and vegetation cover.
