Workshop: Pest animal monitoring and control in coastal ecosystems
Many coastal ecosystems look fine at a glance, but actually have limited biodiversity and resilience to climate change due to pest animals. The animal pest control workshop will cover various animal pests and the impact they might have on coastal ecosystems. We’ll then discuss how to identify if you have a pest animal problem, best practices for control and how to get the most bang for your buck (literally). It will focus on non-toxic methods of control where feasible and demonstrate a few of the traps and lures on the market. Bring your pest control questions along!
